Barbera d’Asti
Verified Denomination of Origin
After years of scarce consideration, Barbera d’Asti is enjoying a considerable revival, thanks to the commitment
of several experts in the production of this noble wine. These include Graglia, who produces an excellent Cru, obtained from grapes cultivated on the Bric d’la Buta hillside.
The wine has an attractive bright ruby red colour that is striking in its fullness.
After reposing for several months in French oak casks, the wine acquires a very intense bouquet reminiscent of the scents that flood across the Asti hills on summer evenings.
The flavour is dry. complete, hill-bodied and pleasantly smooth.
This wine gives its best when served with roasts, game and fermented cheese.
Serving temperature: 18°-22° C. Uncork several hours before serving.
